Patient-RepOrted appraisal of Myocardial Infarction Symptoms and Experiences: the PROMISE observational study

Observational questionnaire-based study evaluating awareness, recognition, and patient experiences of typical and atypical myocardial infarction symptoms.

Investigator-initiated, single-center, observational, questionnaire-based, non-interventional study aimed at evaluating awareness, recognition, and patient experiences regarding typical and atypical symptoms of myocardial infarction among the general public and patients with previous myocardial infarction(s).

Objectives

Primary

  • Characterise awareness of early symptoms of myocardial infarction (MI) both in primary and secondary prevention populations.

Study design

Questionnaire-based single-center observational study conducted at Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino, Lugano. Participants complete structured surveys assessing awareness and recognition of myocardial infarction symptoms in both primary and secondary prevention populations.
